THE ROLE:
A well recognised electronics/ embedded systems business in Basildon require an experienced Project Manager to manage an inflight embedded software development project. This will be a challenging contract and the end client is a well know name and will add prestige to a Project Managers resume.
Due to the nature of the project being for the Defence sector, it is highly desirable if you have current SC clearance, as it means you can start straight away.
The client are ready to appoint as soon as they have found the correct individual.
This is an opportunity to work on a challenging but highly interesting development.
PROJECT: Software Project Manager
LOCATION OF WORK: Remote working with 1/2 days a week on–site in Basildon, Essex
RATE: GBP45–50 per hour
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months
HOURS PER WEEK: 40 hours
SKILLS REQUIRED:
– Technical Project Management experience
– Experience managing Software project developments (ideally Embedded Software/ Electronic product developments)
– Confident jumping into an inflight project
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
– current SC clearance or ability to be SC cleared
– Prince2 qualified
