A national logistics company based in the Croxteth / Fazakerley area are currently seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join they're Finance team. The position is initially offered on an ongoing temporary basis but there is potential to go permanent. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours). On offer is an hourly rate of GBP13.33 per hour which equates to GBP26,000 per annum.

The duties of an Assistant Finance Manager include;
Supporting the Finance Manager with effective stakeholder relationship management – operational personnel, finance colleagues, customers and wider team
Ensure delivery of service level agreements
Support in the production and management of weekly flash reports
Ensure processes and controls are maintained at all levels of the business
Provide site support management and be proactive with information and recommendations to colleagues and customers
Oversee day to day processing of purchase orders and invoices
Continuous review and management of customer debt and cash allocation
Supporting in monitoring annual spend moving through the site
Further support the Finance Manager with the co–ordination and collation of trading results including forecasting, period end reporting and ensuring actual results are fully explainable
Maintaining compliance on site
Financial monitoring of all operational and transport servicesTo apply for the position of Assistant Finance Manager;
If not attained ideally you will actively working towards a professional financial qualification (ACCA or CIMA) – you may already hold your AAT
Be proficient in MS Office especially Excel (pivots, v.look–ups)
While not essential it would be desirable to have experience or knowledge of Oracle Financials, SAP and Kronos Time & Attendance systems
