The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our passionate and knowledgeable team as a Business Development Manager – Commercial. This exciting role will see you managing and developing our Main Contractor accounts and gaining maximum value from Main Contractor Framework Agreements through our value and product leadership proposition whilst creating demand for new products and services.

This is a regional position covering the North West & Yorkshire.

What will you be doing in the role?

In the role as Business Development Manager you will;

Be responsible for the commercial success of MCFA projects, working collaboratively with the client to ensure maximum commercial advantage and commitment through the supply chain
Establish and maintain an effective and constantly evolving network of contacts and stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the voice of the customer and the market place informs our decision and our activity is aligned to achieve common objectives
Representing the customer at Project Management Meetings to prioritise the essential relationships and projects which require leveraging internally to ensure maximum return on investment whilst working collaboratively across all channels
Implements the sales delivery element of the Commercial sector marketing plans, interacting across appropriate functions and promoting to customers NPD and specific marketing strategies enabling us to achieve and maintain our market position as product leaders
Embed CRM as a product leadership tool ensuring data is accurate for both internal and external requirements
Continually promote our value and product proposition to meet customer and business needsAm I what you are looking for?

Account Management (national and regional) experience
Commercial Negotiation
Previous sales training
