Programme Background
SCC are in the process of a multimillion, multiyear rollout of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations across the business, including replacement of Finance Systems and Supply Chain Management operations including Warehousing and Transport
Job Main Focus
• Develop and maintain strong business process knowledge and knowledge of the SCC D365 solution as the project lifecycle progresses
• Undertake analysis and assist in the production of functional requirements (BRD) specifications for change ready for configuration and/or build
• Will involve some analysis work on existing systems to facilitate application and integration design
• Support the FRD/FDD processes by following up on issues and clarifications as requested
• Undertake analysis and produce non–functional requirements for business change
• Support the business in producing Business requirements (BRD's) that can be used to produce FRD's
• Plan, manage and execute first round of system testing of the D365 Application for both defects and change, following agreed standards for both documentation and execution
• Provide support and guidance for UAT
• Creation of Test Plans and schedules
• Produce Training Materials and deliver training
Main Accountabilities
• Produce BRD's for Requirements – following agreed best practice and delivering documentation to the required quality standards
• Take responsibility for the planning, preparation, writing of test plans, test scripts and test execution for systems testing
• Assist with test audit trail through the use of agreed Dev Ops tools liaising with other personnel as required, ensuring defects are fixed prior to system go–live
• Improve and share knowledge of the systems and business processes
• Provides support to business users for UAT
• Review defects to continually improve the quality of the solution
• Produce or assist in the production of Training Materials and Training delivery for Train the Trainer and/or End User Training
Technical Skills/Competencies
• Experienced Microsoft D365 BA with multiple project experience in Supply Chain including creation of FRDs/FDD's/Test Scenarios
• Has a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach
• Previous experience working with Microsoft Dev Ops
• Is able to plan and control own work, selecting and utilising effectively, appropriate methods, procedures, tools, equipment and standards, to meet all targets set.
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written
• Change Management skills to search for ways of improving processes and deliverables embracing a change culture
• Developing stakeholder relationships & Fostering team collaboration
• Business Analysis related qualification
