Head Of QA/RA

CK Group are working on behalf of a medical devices company to recruit for Head of QA/RA. This will be a remote based role on a permanent basis with travel UK wide required and to the clients site based in Abingdon.

The Client:
Specialises in prosthetic, orthotic and posture and mobility care.

Location:
The office is based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, but the client will allow remote working. Travel will be required within the UK. They offer fantastic opportunities for personal development and advancement as well as competitive salaries, pension scheme, bonus, phone and laptop.

The Role:

– To have overall management responsibility and accountability for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) functions, overseeing the effective implementation of a multi–site ISO 13485 certified Quality Management System.
– Perform the role of Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance for the Class I CE marked and Custom–Made Medical Devices.
– Ensures the highest level of Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance are upheld at all times

Your Background:

– Senior Management qualification related to Quality Assurance e.g. Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) – desirable but not essential
– Recognised Quality related qualification – desirable but not essential
– Proven experience of working at a senior Quality and operations level, preferably with experience leading a multi–site quality management system
– Proven experience of people management and motivating high performing teams
– Ability to build and develop effective relationships with stakeholders and multi–disciplinary business management teams who operate in a dispersed geographical environment
