Age UK Oxfordshire is the leading charity for older people in the county. We deliver a range of core services under statutory contracts, including carers support, the Community Information Network, dementia support, discharge support, social prescribing and welfare benefits advice, working closely with statutory and third sector partners.  We also develop and deliver a wide range of services to complement and enhance the core offer, including bereavement support, digital inclusion, footcare, help at home, information & advice, telephone friendship and much more. We have an annual turnover of £4m and are in the process of developing a new strategic plan for the organisation.

The successful candidate should have:

Passionate commitment to the mission of the charity and to a person–centred approach
Experience of a wide range of project and people management
Experience of setting and managing budgets
Strong analytical ability in reviewing and managing data
Good knowledge of health & social care systems and policy relating to older people
Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written, and excellent interpersonal skills to lead, inspire and innovate
Ability to build and develop excellent relationships and strong partnerships internally and externally
Knowledge and experience of working strategically in the on–going development and improvement of services

Active commitment to equality diversity and inclusion.
