Company details and job overview:
An interim CFO is required to join a Multi–Academy Trust to provide technical and strategic financial input to the central finance function and wider Trust throughout a vast period of growth. It is expected that this requirement will be for a period of 3–6 months initially, whilst the Trust begin the recruitment for the permanent appointment.

Your new role as Interim Chief Financial Officer:
As Interim CFO, you will work in an autonomous and diverse role which offers many areas to add value to the finance function and wider Trust. You will oversee the production of management accounts and reports and consolidate; oversee the production of budgets and produce meaningful cash flow forecasts; provide strategic leadership and direction to support in the Trust's growth plans; take the lead on regular reviews of expenditure and services whilst identifying areas for improvements to both internal controls and service delivery.
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
You will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified proven in a senior level finance position. You will be a strategic and credible leader with an exceptional track record of delivering strong financial control and oversight as well as having the ability to inspire, challenge and lead a team of high calibre and like–minded professionals. You will demonstrate proven examples of driving improvements and controls within finance and the wider organisation.

Whilst this position is short–term, the Trust is looking to also recruit this position on a permanent basis so consideration will be given for this permanent role.
