Responsibilities – Regulatory Programme Manager (London, UK)

We're looking for an experienced Regulatory Programme Manager to lead and deliver large scale regulatory change programmes or initiatives across Aon UK's legal entities and business lines, driving to completion within agreed timescales, financials and to agreed quality, ensuring that the benefits and outcomes are in line with expectations.

You'll need to be an innovative and creative capable person who needs to consistently demonstrate not just a technical ability to follow a project methodology but the confidence and skill to tailor the delivery approach to match challenges as they occur. Hands–on ownership with a critical eye for detail, will be key to being successful in this role.

Key Role Principles:
  • Ensuring adherence to project management and governance principles and methods
  • Managing the project team to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes
  • Working closely with senior project/programme sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring the sponsor's vision is delivered and adding value to the firm's strategy, operations and culture
  • Contributing to the improvement of change methodologies and the operation of the UK Change Team; and the promotion of strong project management disciplines and ethos across the organisation
  • Regularly capture and insightfully report on project progress to key stakeholders
  • Support the Regulatory Portfolio Director

About the Role

Your impact as Regulatory Programme Manager:

Deliver Regulatory Change Programmes
It is the responsibility of the Senior Programme Manager to own the development and delivery of a Regulatory Change programme, identifying all the internal and external resources required to complete the programme successfully.
  • Ownership – Full project/programme life cycle ownership: successful delivery from initiation to deployment and close down, for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Multiple projects – Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall programme is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic and regulatory objectives
  • Plans – Oversee and shape estimates and detailed plans for all phases of the programme
