The Client
A specialist fire and security company with offices throughout the UK and Ireland. They currently have a number of Fire Surveyors, Fire Engineers, Fire Consultant and Director roles based in various locations in their offices.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced surveyor with expertise in fire assurance in an Associate or Associate director role (seniors with adequate experience should still apply). You will act as Project Manager for a variety of project types across all sectors and regions. You will be involved in the project cycle wholly and be a technical lead at different stages of development such as design, construction, and in–use.

* Problem solver, managing conflict and difficult situations.

Experience and Qualifications Required
* This role especially relates to the reviewing of on–site fire rated elements and fire stopping. Your background should be surveying, and we would look for relevant qualifications.
* External wall experience would be of benefit but not necessary.
* You will possess a broad range of technical competence and be comfortable in leading and managing people, work winning, project planning, performance management and reporting.
* 5–10 years' experience
* BEng or BSc in Engineering or building surveying.
* MSc in Engineering or Engineering related discipline.
* Membership of a professional body listed below, with a commitment to adhere to a code of professional ethics / conduct and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is recognised as contributing to continued competence in practice.
* CEng – Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Fire Engineers
* MRICS – Corporate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
* MCABE – Corporate Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers
