Dartmouth Partners are partnered with a global private equity backed business services organisation who are looking for a Financial Controller for their manufacturing division. Situated at their offices between Chester and Liverpool, the position will report into the CFO.
Role & Responsibilities:

- Supports the local leadership team to translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs and schedules to support business growth
- Uses data from a wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify possible impacts on the business and routes to financial improvement
- Monitors key performance indicators, highlights trends and variances and recommends actions to improve
- Plans and delivers financial systems changes and manages the local finance team to meet regulatory reporting and project timelines
- Prepares and coordinates the completion of various standard and a hoc data and analytics reports
- Contributes to the formation of divisional finance policy and strategy
- Communicates the actions needed to implement the divisional finance strategy and business plan within the team
- Manages and reports on the performance of the manufacturing unit
- Successfully identifies and engages with senior stakeholders
- Builds and validates business cases in connection with business initiatives and transformation plans
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or overseas equivalent)
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Previous experience working in senior finance role in a manufacturing environment
