This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader to take up the challenges in a successful homeless charity and lead it forward into the next phase of its development.

Chester Aid to the Homeless has been working with the homeless community in Chester since its formation in 1972. The current CEO is retiring later in the year and the charity now wishes to appoint a successor who will build on previous successes and drive the charity forward to meet post – COVID challenges.

The successful candidate will lead a committed team and be comfortable with a hand – on approach to strategic and operational matters. High levels of quality service delivery will be a driver as will staff development and client voice.

With a track record of achievement at senior level, within the housing or third sector, you will be able to evidence a firm understanding of governance, risk and the regulatory landscape.

Previous experience with budgeting and financial management procedures is an advantage, as is the ability to build strong and effective internal and external relationships.

 

To the successful candidate we can offer:

salary range £43 – £47,000 dependent upon skills and experience
training and development opportunities
flexible working environment
