Technical Business Analyst
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong track record in bridging the gap between technology and operational process design.
Position: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Home Based, U.K Nationwide
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Salary circa £40,000 per annum (inner London weighting £3,299 per annum/pro rata or outer London weighting £1,755 per annum/pro rata may be applied in accordance to where you live)
Contract: This is a fixed term 12–month contract from start date

The Role
Reporting to the Associate Director, Technology, the Technical Business Analyst will work closely with projects teams, business stakeholders and the technology team to aid translation of operational activities into the most appropriate technology and the best ways of working.
The Technical Business Analyst would be responsible through the design of technology to ensure that where we can, we will eliminate wasteful processes or improve processes that would benefit from technical intervention. The role is expected to constantly look for new value from technology, raising our capability in operational activities that add operational and strategic value
Key accountabilities and main responsibilities:
To work collaboratively with the technology team and stakeholder within the business to ensure the best understanding of business goals, challenges and complexities, processes, data and the overall value to the business
Actively participate in process redesign workshops and meetings to ensure that the technology capabilities are available to meet design outcomes
Participate in technology development workshops and meetings to transmit process requirements into lean, user centric technology designs
Proposals for process elimination, reduction, raising of capability or creation
Ensure all process redesigns are optimised in terms of stakeholder experience, technology, resources and quality and they meet strategic as well as operational need and deliver value
Running business process analysis activities to determine waste, bottlenecks and duplication in process and to facilitate teams to improve business processes using standard tools and methods
About You
Experience and Personal Attributes:
Experience in working in business process management domain within a technical delivery environment
Knowledge of business process modelling notations (BPMN) and its application to technology
Process lifecycles and their redesign
Demonstrable experience of complex technical set ups and complex development rollouts, a track record in delivery within a regulated environment and dealing with a broad stakeholder group
Running business process analysis activities to determine waste, bottlenecks and duplication in process and to facilitate teams to improve business processes using standard tools and methods
Experience of translating business need to technology
Experience in CRM and/or ERP Technology
Experience in Microsoft Cloud Technologies
Experience of automation
Involvement in large change programs or organisational operational redesign – desirable
