The role
You will provide guidance and strategic advice to the board on its business development strategy, direction and performance to deliver continuous improvement.
Advise, implement and oversee the correct sales strategy for our next phase of the businesses development.
Recruiting and managing a business development team who will be responsible for the direct targeting of prospective clients and possible referrers through email marketing, LinkedIn and cold calling.
You will be the firm's subject matter expert on all things sales and business development; advising, nurturing, pushing and training our business development team through your leadership and expert advice.
You will be able to bring a breadth of sales/business development expertise gained at a senior level to influence and guide the development of a transformative approach to sales across the firm.Skills and Experience
Proven track record of creating, implementing and delivering on a sales strategy which was responsible for growth for a B2B business.
Experience of recruiting, training and managing a high performing sales team.
Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a pro–active, driven approach.
Excellent IT skills and a detail orientated approach to your day to day work.
Creative vision and willingness to challenge how things are done
