We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our public sector clients in Leeds. GBP35,000, fixed–term contract, working with an excellent organisation with fantastic benefits.

Client Details

Our client is a large public sector organisation in Leeds. Home working is available however occasional travel is necessary. Their current system has been in place for over 20 years and was built and developed to support the business needs at that time. Due to several of the system modules now nearing the end of their life and no longer being fully supported it is time to move to products that are more suitable to meet current business requirements and to facilitate the delivery of the new People strategy.

Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Process Analyst to work on the new HR/Payroll system implementation project that our client is introducing later this year.

The role will lead the process and reporting work streams within the overall HRP system implementation from project kick–off through to post go–live stabilisation. Working with the 3rd party supplier and HR and Payroll Leads to ensure the system configuration is in line with requirements whilst using your experience of process analysis, change management and business process reengineering to deliver significant process improvements throughout the new system design.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst or similar role, with experience in business process engineering /reengineering and process mapping in relation to system implementations.
Proven ability to work with stakeholders to capture business requirements and analyse process documentation in order to produce process improvement recommendations, process maps and Standard Operating Procedures. Experience of taking information from multiple sources and synthesising conclusions for both a technical and a non–technical audience
Experience of working with senior level stakeholders to prioritise requirements and mediating between multiple perspectives, as well as the ability to convince and influence senior decision makers on the benefits, costs and risks of different approaches to business problems
Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment and use an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery and manage to a tight schedule.
Experience with production of reporting requirements / specifications and building end user reports and / or queries.
Strong team leadership skills, with experience managing, motivating and mentoring teams/individuals.Job Offer
