We have a new opportunity for an Interim Head of Workforce Resourcing at a North West NHS Trust, to provide expert advice and leadership in all aspects of recruitment and medical staffing.
Main responsibilities:
Be a pivotal member of the senior workforce management team delivering against the workforce and OD priorities;
Lead on the implementation of national initiatives and local practice in relation to the Trusts workforce resourcing agenda, providing specialist advice and support as appropriate;
Oversee and provide direction to the Recruitment, Medical Workforce & Temporary Staffing Bank teams to ensure they are managed effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the Trust;
To ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and high quality temporary staffing service for the Trust
Lead on the sourcing and negotiation of supplier contracts ensuring value for money for the Trust;
Provide specialist advice and guidance to senior managers on specialist workforce resourcing issues.
Key Skills/Experience:
CIPD professional qualification and/ or equivalent theoretical knowledge and experience gained across HR specialist field;
Experience of the NHS agenda and culture;
Significant experience of working at a senior management level;
Experience of managing medical staffing issues with strong expertise in relation to medical staff terms and conditions of employment.
