MFK Recruitment has an exciting opportunity, for a Head of Marketing, to join a well–established Software company.

My client is based in Chineham (just outside of Basingstoke), This position is currently 100% remote, post–pandemic – You will continue to work remotely, you will only be required to meet the team in Chineham once every couple of months. You can be based anywhere in the UK!

MFK Recruitment has recruited 3 candidates into this business within the past 6 months, all are doing very well!

Until now, this company's clients have been mainly Fortune 1,000 / FTSE 250 companies with a GBP50k–GBP150k average sale value. Supporting this activity is a key part of the marketing mix. Later this year, they will be launching a new product with a low subscription price entry point where success is based on a high–volume model. This exciting new challenge is the other major focus of the marketing function.

We are seeking a Head of Marketing who will be instrumental in all elements of the marketing mix, but with a strong emphasis on driving customer engagement via the websites and social media to support the new product launch.

Head of Marketing Job Responsibilities:

With internal support, you will personally develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy, including:

* Driving additional traffic flow to existing and new websites through SEO, outbound marketing and LinkedIn campaigns.

* Optimizing the customer experience to increase conversion rates.

* Development of a new eCommerce business model.

* Identifying and engaging with external agencies where appropriate ROI exists.

* Develop programs for engaging with influencers, partners, and analysts

Head of Marketing Skills & Qualities Required:

My client's success has been based on the quality of their people and our level of innovation. You will need to be an energetic and creative personality with ideas and the drive to get them agreed upon and executed. You will be able to "do" as well as lead to deliver results.

You will have worked in the software industry and have:

* 3–5 years hands–on experience of leading a successful marketing function, comprising both internal resources and external agencies

* In–depth understanding of SEO and SMM with the ability to grow and engage a digital audience.

* Managed corporate websites including eCommerce.

* A high level of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

* Innovative thinking.

* The ability to rapidly absorb competitive data and develop relevant messaging.

* Knowledge of US markets would be useful but not essential.
