Business Development Director, Print Management – North West

Outstanding and entrepreneurial Print & Managed Solutions provider seeks to appoint a truly heavyweight, dynamic & aspirational Business Development Director to work directly alongside the current senior management team in succession planning & the continued focussed expansion of the Business.

Operating a truly vendor neutral service delivery and an over 100,000 sq ft warehousing & JIT delivery capability, they have built a Business turning over in excess of GBP20M, by choosing the very best suppliers for Clients based on individual projects objective criteria and a service capability that's unparalleled in the market.

Importantly, operating across a diversity of Client sectors, they have forged strong & deep Client relationships and throughout the difficul trading conditions across the board in 2020/21, they have continued to flourish, growing their Client portfolio & their associated internal support team.

As the new Business Development Director, you must have an impressive & demonstrable track record in the Print & Print Management arena, both in personal sales development and critically, in the strategic & successful performance leadership & delivery of enhanced results. You must have the connectivity, gravitas & dynamism to lead the delivery of key new business wins & drive significant Business growth into an enhanced team of empowered & enabled Customer services staff.

With the experience, intelligence & personality to position the 'solutions sell' of the Print & Managed Outsourcing offering to a vast array of corporate, public sector & charity Clients/Prospects, this role offers a real 'carrot' of immediate influence & future responsibility, as part of the opportunity, there is the vision that this role will step up into a Business leadership remit over the next 3–5 years as the existing senior management look to step back in their day to day responsibilities.

Likely frustrated in your larger, more corporately structured & potentially 'shackled' environment, this role will work alongside the highly entrepreneurial Board team, where you'll utilise your instantly engaging, strongly sales centric, yet considered, thoughtful, subtle and effective sales & people skills in order to lead personal sales development objectives. Equally, you'll take responsibility for building a Business Development team around you, assessing, analyzing, enhancing & driving that sales teams performance, through strong KPI's, and a continual programme of professional skills development & personal support.
