Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Home Based

A global supplier to the world's leading rail manufacturers and transport providers, is now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting to the UK based Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading sales to UK based organisations with overseas travel to Europe from time to time.

Some of your main responsibilities are listed below:

Identify and attract new business opportunities across Europe
Develop & manage existing accounts, customer acquisitions and new relationships with prospective customers
Technical sales of the employer's products (training provided)
Develop market penetration sales strategies for technology–based solutions
Working with Project Team to ensure customers' expectations are met
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

The successful candidates will be from the rail industry, with a background selling to Rail Operators, Tier 1 Rail Suppliers, National Rail Authorities and their subsidiaries. Knowledge of the Rolling Stock Market would be advantageous but is not essential.
