Your new role
In this role you will develop and lead the procurement and contracting service for the Trust by delivering a sustainability focused and dynamic service. You will find innovative solutions to achieve significant and sustainable cost improvements for the Trust's constituent members. You will also provide and expertise in all aspects of contracting and procurement to stakeholders across the Trust which will involve developing and implementing a strategy for the service. This is to primarily achieve organisational resilience and compliance to the Trusts Standing Financial Instructions.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will be able to oversee all sourcing projects and work collaboratively to influence stakeholders and modify embedded cultural change so that inclusive panning and delivery of the Trusts strategic aims are achieved. The role will place you as a focal point for the negotiation of new contracts and renegotiation of existing contracts for the provision of healthcare services. You will need to display capability combined with strong relationship skills to successfully engage commissioners, sub–contractors and, where appropriate, joint providers.
