Our Client is seeking an experienced Head of HR (who has Workforce Operations experience) to oversee vaccination sites located in Hampshire.
You will preferably have a very robust generalist HR background with workforce, resourcing and operations experience, preferably obtained within the public sector, including the NHS. Knowledge of People Operations and leading Projects would be essential. This is very much a strategic role as you will have a small team supporting you, providing transactional support.
Reporting into a Director, you will provide support to a number of Operations Managers. The sites you will be responsible for, are staffed by a variety of methods and via rostas, covering shifts in 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You will be the fundamental HR lead for this project this is already underway and you will therefore need to be a very competent leader, extremely flexible, pragmatic and agile to react to often fast–moving situations. You will have exemplary stakeholder skills; able to influence, negotiate, persuade and challenge with respect when necessary. As a person you must be comfortable with ambiguity and be creative to respond to situations that present.
A CIPD qualification would be desirable, but relevant experience is necessary first and foremost.
This is an immediate start and initially a 6 months fixed term contract, but could be extended. Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week. Working from home 2–3 days a week and attending the 5 sites as and when on the remaining days. The hours are extremely flexible and the role could be worked over 4 days a week if preferred. The salary for this role is between GBP63,000 and GBP73,000, (pro rata if 4 days a week) depending on experience. There are other benefits, including free parking.
