Logistics Director

I'm excited to be working with a fast growing, innovative Logistics scale up on an exciting Logistics Director role. This role, overseeing operations, scalability and growth for this fast–paced food business, offers an opportunity to drive Logistics strategy and make a real impact on a business with sustainability and innovation at it's core.

This role is based in London, with some flexibility for remote working. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary + package and potential equity.

The Role:

Oversee Chilled 3PL warehouse and transport relationships, ensuring maximum service levels and performance by 3PL partners and identifying room for improvement across the operation
Identify and undertake geographical expansions, helping the business expand into new markets
Work alongside the Customer Service team in a customer–facing capacity to identify issues, concerns and room for improvement from the customer perspective
Work with Product Managers/Technology Engineering teams to improve technology and innovate new tech solutions at every stage of the customer journey.Who we're looking for:

5+ years in a managerial role in a Cold–Chain Logistics Management role – Chilled experience is essential!!
Experience overseeing both Warehousing and Transport operations, with contract management/3PL management experience
Strong analytical skills, with ability to identify weaknesses in 3PL operations and room for improvement across the network
