My client is one of the leading housing providers in the Greater Manchester area with over 11000 properties. They are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist them over a 6 month period due to increased work load.
Description
Interim Quantity Surveyor
To provide a full range of professional quantity surveying services relating to the improvement, maintenance and repair of a varied traditional and non–traditional property or housing stock.
To provide an effective and efficient pre and post contract quantity surveying services to support the delivery of construction projects ensuring completion of all contract documentation; fully utilising in–house IT support systems
To be part of an effective operational team focused on achievement of service plans and organisational priorities including day to day support of other team members on specific projects; contributing to the development of a collaborative culture throughout the Commercial Team.
Profile
The successful candidate must hold a degree in Quantity Surveying and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the relevant sector be it for either a contractor or registered provider
