Would you like to work for a successful engineering company who specialise in the design, manufacture, support control systems, bespoke solutions and turnkey projects to a range of sectors?
Working within this busy team, you will be responsible for delivering a varied portfolio of projects from initial design through to commissioning and ongoing customer support.
Working as a Control Systems Engineer you will:
Control system documentation (FDS, SDS, FAT, SAT)
Responsible for programming various automated systems / devises, using programmable logic controllers (PLC).
Design of control system in compliance with applicable project, quality and statutory requirements.
Develop new software for customer specific equipment.
Configuration and programming of multiple PLC, HMI, SCADA and telemetry systems – flexible on which platforms you have worked with.
Be responsible for all automation machinery including drives side of the business, both servo and AC drive / motors.To be successful for the Control Systems Engineer role, we're looking for:
A Time served apprenticeship or relevant Electrical engineering qualification.
Strong background of working with latest servo, robotic and vision technologies.
Strong PLC / controls background, ideally writing the code from scratch within projects.
Someone who has carried out the completion of full turnkey projects from design through to programming and commissioning.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be experienced with client facing.Benefits:
