Reporting into the Senior Sales Team, we are looking for a high–performing salesperson to initiate meaningful engagement with local restaurants and restaurant groups with the ultimate target of selling the best SaaS offering to fit their business needs. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering monthly, quarterly and annual acquisition targets by managing a local area as well as, a predefined (QF) list of restaurants we wish to work with.
You will be responsible for driving acquisitional growth in your territory and are responsible for the smooth transition of all newly signed merchants over to the Customer Success Team.
The position is a field–based role where travel is expected to meet business demands. You will also work directly with the UK leadership team to drive the right behaviours through strong communication skills and becoming a brand ambassador of the Quandoo Core Values.
To own and take full responsibility of your individual sales acquisition target within the UK team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs in line with the global sales strategy
To achieve the predetermined activity levels calculated for success in the position
Manage and deliver on your monthly targets by signing new restaurants to our SaaS platform to reach acquisition KPIs within an assigned territory
Generating your own leads from a number of sources. For example, but not exclusive to – social media, internet searches, referrals, walk in opportunities
To achieve a minimum level of calls/meetings per week as set out by your Line Manager
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our net customer base
Build and maintain strong, long–lasting stakeholder relationships within your territory with a view to grow your merchant base
Partner with sales team members to further your skills and assist in the development of new locations or areas of interest
Effectively communicate Quandoo's value proposition through proposals and presentations to stakeholders
Understand and report on industry–specific promotions and trends
Undertake regional market analysis and competitive assessment for strategy planning
Periodic reporting on your sales territory to your Line Manager
