Technical Programme Manager needed by my large software house. Due to continued expansion my client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer. My client have continued to work throughout the pandemic and that has paid off as they continue to win new contracts with new and existing clients. They are looking for someone that not only know how to successfully lead major programmes but someone that understands Infrastructure programmes from a technical standpoint.
You are:
• An experienced technical Programme Manager used to running large, major Programmes, with a particular focus on working with, or within, IT/Infrastructure departments
• Hard working and dedicated
• Tenacious & self–motivated
• Well organised, thorough • Committed to a professional attitude at all times
• Knowledgeable in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• A 'completer finisher'
• Able to constantly influence external and internal stakeholders
• Hands on
You have:
• Proven experience delivering business transformation and technology change programmes
• Knowledge with understanding what good design, development and testing looks like to enable robust discussions with technology resources and suppliers on the project.
• Knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices and procedures IT lifecycle
• Strong problem solving techniques
• Strong inter–personal skills
• Strong Programme Management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Excellent interpersonal and team working capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills
You Must Have:
• 5+ years' experience in commercial IT software projects & programmes at a minimum of a Programme / Senior Project Management role
• IT software experience in a management or delivery capacity • Experience of the full IT software development lifecycle
• Experience of defining, documenting and supporting end to end processes for standardisation
• Experience of customer facing stakeholder management roles, interfacing to customer contacts at all levels from technical to C–level
• Experience of owning and running programme budgets > GBP1m / 4,000 man days
• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• Managing Successful Programmes Foundation / Practitioner (not essential) Previous experience in the Utilities Industry is highly desirable
