Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Financial Controller.
The company: is a a very profitable retail business with multiple outlets in the Thames Valley and South East. With revenues in access of GBP10m and an enthusiastic workforce, the company now wish to recruit a temporary to permanent or permanent financial controller.
The Role:– Will be to assume responsibility for the day to day financial operations of the business. Reporting to the MD, you will manage and motivate a small team to achieve their goals and targets whilst creating a strong control environment by adopting best practices and processes. Responsible for the management accounting, budget preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, all month and quarter end procedures through to the preparation of year end accounts.
The person:– Graduate, qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 3/5 years previous experience as a senior manager or as a controller. Retail, FMCG or multi site experience very useful as is having strong excel skills and must have knowledge of XERO. You will be an excellent communicator /influencer, comfortable managing and prioritising the workload. Detail minded,
efficient and commercial. A well presented individual, comfortable taking early responsibility.
(this is possibly a temporary to permanent position and immediately available candidates will have an advantage as the position is for a start date ASAP
