Interim Financial Accountant

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a leading technology business based in Leeds city centre. This role is to cover for approximately 3 months until a permanent member of the team joins the business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will include the following duties:–

–Carrying out a variety of financial duties associated with month end preparation and submission of the UK balance sheet.
–Preparation of reports such as balance sheet risk reviews and budget and forecast information.
–Assisting with the production of statutory accounts.
–Balance sheet reconciliations.
–Appropriately challenging different departments around completing the reconciliations.
–Undertake a number of process improvements to facilitate a more efficient month end process.

You will need to be an immediately available qualified accountant with a strong background in technical accounting to be considered for this position.
