Our client 'City Facilities Management' is one of the UK's fastest growing independent unquoted businesses, with a turnover exceeding GBP450m and employing over 12,000 people.

The company is a leading provider of facilities management and building maintenance services to multisite operations. City employs an innovative business model to partner with clients and provides a one–stop service.

This opportunity has arisen on the ASDA contract due to internal development. We are looking to recruit an operational HR professional who will thrive in a fast–paced service focused environment. This position reports into the Head of HR and Transformation and partners the Divisional Manager.

The Divisional People Partner will work as part of the wider people team on the national people plan to deliver our "ambition 25" agenda and align to the West Division to support the delivery of the plan addressing commercial people solutions through the line.

This is a divisional leadership role, focused on the alignment of objectives, values and behaviours to our strategy. The role partners operations to drive performance through people metrics understanding the capability and capacity of our teams. Communication and engagement are high on the agenda along with succession and talent to enable our plans to be realised. This is a varied role covering all people escalations through the colleague life cycle with specialist functions that provide central support through our people service centre.

You must have multi–site People Management experience, ideally gained within Retail, Hospitality and Leisure, Engineering/Logistics or Facilities Management.

My client wants to hear from candidates who thrive in a fast paced environment, who have a generalist HR background, with a proven track record of partnering operations and delivering widescale HR projects and change.

Candidates will regularly be required to travel throughout the West of England (Liverpool to Cornwall) and occasionally attend national meetings including City FM's head office in Glasgow which means overnight stays will be a requirement of the role.

The amount of time out and about visiting ASDA stores and City FM colleagues will vary but on average you will be out an about 1–2 days a week and the rest of the time would be in the office (home based).

Candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and be prepared to travel on a regular basis and be able to stay away from home occasionally.

If you are ready for that next HR challenge please send your full and up to date CV in the strictest of confidence to Jonathan Sweasey at PDA Search & Selection
