I am pleased to be working with my client, a reputable Social Housing provider in the North West, to recruit for a Project Manager (Delivery) and Project Manager (Regeneration) on a permanent basis.

Delivery Project Manager

The ideal candidate will hold strong negotiation skills, experience working with varied contractors and the ability to manage mixed tenure schemes on site.

Duties include:

* Holding responsibility for tendering, and working with the new business team to negotiate contracts and deliver best value for money
* Entering into contract with contractors and overseeing formal appointment of stakeholders, including Solicitors, Valuers and Consultants
* Undertaking investigation reports of site and site surveys
* Maintaining understanding of legal requirements of projects including section agreements, internal transfers, commercial leases and planning conditions
* Taking ownership for all elements of project and ensuring projects are delivered within budget to agreed specifications of quality
* Negotiating contractual agreements, building plans and cashflow forecasting

Desired skills/further information:

* Degree level educated/relevant qualifications in project management desirable
* Construction experience, preferably within Social Housing
* Communication and negotiation skills essential
* Ability to manage and deliver on time and in budget
* Use of cashflow software

Regeneration Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Social Housing construction environment and an understanding of the process in relation to new business, including design, legal, financial and engagement with community stakeholders.

Duties include:

* Managing acquisition, procurement and planning of the new homes programme and regeneration of renewal projects
* Engaging with various internal teams to ensure smooth running and delivery of projects including neighbourhoods, sales, assets and finance
* Engaging with local communities and building positive relationships with stakeholders
* Liaison with local authorities, residents and tenants, contractors and consultants
* Identifying new sites and opportunities for the new homes programme
* Writing reports relating to all elements of the project and securing approval from senior board members to meet strict deadlines
* Agreeing legal arrangements relating to building plans
* Ensuring project remains fully compliant and continuously identifying, mitigating and managing all risks associated
* Carrying out market research and liaising with valuers

Desired skills/further information:

* Degree level educated/relevant qualifications in project management desirable
* Understanding of legal, planning, financial and design aspects of new business projects
* Experience in community consultation
* Understanding of Homes England grant funding
* Strong written skills, communication skills and use of MS Office
* Must have access to own vehicle and a valid licence
