My client are a fast-growing & profitable business and they are currently looking to appoint a high-calibre Finance Controller. The role
Reporting to the FD, you will assume day to day responsibility for the finance function. This will involve covering month end production and statutory accounts. You will also be responsible for managing all external stakeholders including Banking Relationships & Auditors. It is important that you are able to support and deputise for Finance Director and deal directly with the main board with ad-hoc requirements.
Main Responsibilities:-
Assume immediate day to day responsibility for:
The ideal candidate will be fully Qualified with demonstrable experience at a senior level. You must have be able to demonstrate a track record of team development and ability to manage at all levels, be committed, commercially aware with good communication skills. The ability to meet tight deadlines and excellent influencing skills will also be key.
You must also be able to demonstrate strong leadership ability and an excellent track record of success within a senior finance role in industry.

- Timely and accurate periodic management accounts including consolidated accounts at various levels of the Group,
- As required, provide commercially focused management information and analysis which supports the Executive Team decision making
- Cash flow reports and management
- Production of board papers, finance reports and business plans as required by the executive team
Assume immediate day to day responsibility for:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Treasury and cash flow management and forecasting, ensuring covenant compliance
- Completion and review of VAT and other statutory returns
- Reviewing Corporation Tax computations
- Develop, manage and maintain appropriate relationships with auditors, bankers and other external advisors
