Business Development Manager

Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited (AGI) is an established British company, which manufactures a wide range of instruments and systems for the defence and civil markets worldwide. Over the years since its foundation in 1915, AGI has built up a reputation for high quality, well–engineered products that employ electronic, electromechanical and optical technologies. Innovative solutions to technically demanding problems are often an integral feature of the company's designs.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our successful team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation of order intake with the objective of meeting sales in line with budgets and company strategy. Being the primary point of contact for customers in defined territories, developing sales opportunities with overseas customers along with preparation of proposals and presentations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience in a technical sales environment
Exposure to contractural terms and conditions, associated risks & liabilities, costs and margins
Remote working available, however it is a requirement to visit the Poole Office on a weekly basis.
