Technology Director / System Architect - Integrated Power Devices

About the role
Nexperia has an exciting opportunity for a Technology Director / System Architect to join us. The Technology Director / System Architect holds a pivotal position within TeamNexperia, leading a world class design and development team dedicated to defining and delivering future generation power management IC architectures.
This is a senior leadership position offering a highly motivated integrated power devices expert the opportunity to create the technology roadmap for an exciting new product line within a well–established global business. The successful candidate will be a hands–on team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to set strategic direction and to collaborate across boundaries by leveraging the expertise and skills of the team.
What you will do
* Develop and drive the Integrated Power Devices technology roadmap
* Direct the execution of business critical, high profile platform and product release projects
* Leverage In depth system level expertise in DC–DC power conversion and hands on experience in Integrated Power Stages
* Conduct feasibility studies to ensure proof of concept
* Develop product level and individual chip level specifications based on thorough application understanding
* Collaborate with internal and external project teams and industry peers as the senior Integrated Power Devices technical expert
* Define the simulation, verification and validation strategy of your chips
* Explore and implement novel technology concepts, technical improvements and process changes
What you will need
* Degree or equivalent, ideally PhD, in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline
* Proven track record of on time delivery of new product and technology creation projects
* In depth experience in gate driver ICs design and development
* Familiarity with Power MOSFET design processes
* Good knowledge of analog design flow (Cadence Virtuoso, AMS designer)
* Experience in power applications, DC–DC conversion in server space (e.g. gate drivers, isolated DC–DC / AC–DC converters)
* Experience in leading and developing engineers and technical experts and in achieving results through teams
* Ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and to influence stakeholders at all levels
