FTMLS is an emerging leader in the language services industry, offering a wide variety of foreign language translation and localization solutions to multinational companies, international law firms, and other global organisations.

We are currently seeking an all–star Business Development Manager, for USA, to join our highly successful translation and localization division. Experience in language industry is a must. The Business Development Manager will be equipped with a true "hunter" mentality, heavily focused on developing new business within companies and organisations who operate on a global scale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing team, in a $40 Billion industry that continues to flourish.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

?? Source and close new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, face–to–face meetings, and other means to help grow FTML's market share

?? Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process from open to close

?? Create proposals, manage and control pricing and contractual issues

?? Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients by delivering superior service

?? Track all customer sales related activities in Salesforce.com/others.

?? Travel (annual conferences, client meetings) domestically and internationally

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Education / Experience Requirements:

?? Bachelor's/Master's Degree

?? Fluent English (written and verbal skills), additional language knowledge a plus

?? Previous experience in language industry domain.

?? At least 5 years of demonstrated sales experience in a "hunting" environment

?? Sales life cycle experience from lead generation through closing

?? Proven track record in achieving sales targets

?? Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

?? Effective time management skills and attention to detail

?? Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge & Abilities

?? Sell to C–Suite, VP, and Director level executives from multinational companies and organisations

?? Outbound sales methodology, ability to quickly identify and qualify leads

?? Language Industry knowledge a plus

?? Salesforce.com knowledge and experience preferred

?? Self–motivated and pro–active, entrepreneurial spirit

?? Ability to multi task in a deadline driven environment

Ideal career profile: Several years of successful sales experience in the translation and localization industry, backed up by a previous operational role, a strong technical or linguistic degree, and some team leadership or management experience.

Target: USD 8M revenue target over the first year and then so on with exponential growth.

P.S : We have offices in India, Canada and USA and would like to setup here as well and would require help opening office there as well. Experience in language services is mandatory. The job can done from home or from our office.
