Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Programme Manager for Vocational Education and Training to work in Thurrock. This position is initially for a period of 12 months and is paying GBP400.00 per day (paid to you via an umbrella company).
The role:
To be an outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practitioner.
To manage and develop a designated portfolio of vocational and community learning courses, ensuring that each and every learner is able to reach their full potential.
To be ambitious, focussed and work collaboratively with others for continuous improvement in order to contribute to our journey to be outstanding.
To inspire, motivate and line manage a team of course tutors, making sure that planning, delivery and monitoring of teaching, learning and assessment takes place to the highest standards for our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure the College achieve their goals we are looking for a highly motivated Programme Manager to help them continue to develop a diverse curriculum offer that meets the needs of the people of Thurrock and enables. Vocational education and training courses account for approximately 25% of the College's ESFA–funded Adult Skills courses on offer to local residents. Thurrock Adult Community College is on it's own "journey to outstanding" and is a rewarding place to work and an inspiring place to learn. This is an exciting time to join them as they prepare to relocate their provision into community venues across the borough, from which we will be delivering our courses from September.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: University Degree at grade 2:2 or above.
Experience: 1+ year of similar experience.
Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS check.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
