Operations Director – 3PL Automotive
We are looking for an Operations Director, experienced in the automotive 3PL sector, to lead a large – c2m sq ft, person – and highly automated, fast–moving operation who can deliver world–class standards in cost, quality, and delivery.
Working as part of the Operations Executive team in the leadership of a globally diverse business, you will focus upon increasing the capability of our people in the Automotive sector, and will lead successful large scale change and transformation.
We want you to ensure that our clients' expectations are exceeded.
Driving new technologies, leading external benchmarking and best practice to improve internal operations, effective deployment of our continuous improvement and productivity tools, and supporting our growth agenda are all key elements of the role.
Operations Director – 3PL Automotive Requirements:
• You will be able to think strategically and have a strong operations background in either logistics or manufacturing, across multiple sites and contracts.
• With experience of leading and developing people to deliver outstanding performance, you will also have a deep understanding of the principles of continuous improvement and lean.
