Finance Manager

The Myton Hospices is an organisation at the forefront of palliative and end of life care across Coventry and Warwickshire and with a national profile. We have three hospices, two inpatient units and an ever–developing range of outpatient and community–based services.

We have almost 300 staff and over 800 volunteers who are committed to improving the quality of life for patients and their families. Our people are central to the success of Myton working across our palliative care services, our fundraising, support teams and our extensive retail footprint. We are a much loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a pro–active, motivated finance professional to join our friendly and dynamic Finance Team.

This role manages the Finance Team and accounts for three companies including the Development Company, a Trading company which includes 25 shops and our Lottery, and the Charity Limited by Guarantee.

As the charity focuses on future sustainability and aims to increase the number of patients and family members whom can benefit from our services, the emphasis on needing high quality financial management within the organisation is a focus to ensure we have financial plans to support the strategy for the coming years. This role will be pivotal in providing a high quality of service to all of our managers whom are responsible for their own budgets and are held accountable to perform according the budget set.

The successful candidate will ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified or equivalent, although part–qualified candidates will be considered.
