Prospectus is excited to be exclusively working with a leading Advice and Support organisation to recruit their new Head of Advice Projects This is a great opportunity to display excellent project managerial skills, and lead on the successful delivery across a portfolio of advisory–related projects.

This is a key role for the organisation that will take responsibility for a portfolio of advisory and support projects and programmes, working closely with and managing frontline staff and being accountable for project reporting requirements. The postholder will maintain and develop relationships with key relevant stakeholders across the projects and will also collaborate with the Business Development Manager to ensure continuation funding where appropriate. The role will take the lead on ensuring that new projects are implemented smoothly and that project staff are appropriately supported. The Project Lead will also oversee project budgets, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place, and will lead on the monitoring and evaluation of existing and new projects.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing advisory–focussed projects, and interacting with funders. Working at senior levels they will comfortable developing project evaluations and reports and positively contributing to organisational and strategic planning. They will possess a track record of managing and leading people, developing a positive working environment that supports staff to achieve their full potential. Experience of managing budgets and contributing to discussions on the allocation of resources is essential. A background in working in the not for profit sector and/or the advice sector is desirable but not essential.
