My client is an industry leader within landscaping and is seeking a talented Financial Controller to join at an exciting time in their growth. The role has the opportunity to progress from a temporary to a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will manage and process all aspects of the company's financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll: Collation and payment of weekly/monthly payroll via Xero process system
Upkeep of personnel details
Overseeing pension contributions
Bank reconciliations
Reporting: Creating monthly/annual reports
Producing finance packs as required
Monthly CIS/VAT returns
Examine financial reports
Expenses
Bookkeeping
Dealing with supplier/client account queries
Management support
Essential Experience and skills
Proven experience of at least 2 years within an accounts management role
Must have experience working on Xero
Must have experience of working with Invoice Factoring – Aldermore of advantage
A keen eye for detail
Computer literate: experience of using payroll software
Excellent interpersonal skills
A proactive approach to work with an understanding of your contribution to the company as a whole
