A commercially astute organisation with its heart in Social Value is currently enjoying a period of growth and innovation and the result of this is the fantastic opportunity to join their organisation in the newly formed position of Head of Procurement. This is exciting new requirement will give experienced Procurement Professionals the chance to join a forward thinking, commercially aware and socially minded organisation and be a key player in implementing real and tangible change that improves not just the lives of their customers but also feeds into and takes an active part in community projects. They not only manage and own a large amount of residential properties but also look to implement positive change in their communities.
If you are a Procurement Professional passionate about Social Value and making commercially aware decisions with a heart, then this is a position you should consider. This organisation are looking for;
*Someone passionate about the customer who shares their values
*An innovative procurement thinker able to look at developing procurement excellence that works for the customers and the service managers
*A qualified professional (CIPS, MCIPS, Procurement and Supply Chain based Degree or working equivalent) who has experience in building, managing, and developing a skilled and passionate procurement team
*An experienced professional familiar with being responsible for GBP30million + budgets and running a competent and comprehensive procurement team
Due to the nature of this organisation and their property assets, we are open to applicants who may not come from a social or housing background. Experience in the Public Sector and Industry based Private Sector applicants will be welcomed. It is however key that you can balance commercial acumen with social values.
