Senior Software Developer - .Net and Azure

Overview of the role:

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer to work as part of an Ideation Team offering support with innovative prototype solutions for one of our corporate customers. The Engineer would need to have a strong background in .Net development and API (Azure) based connectivity design and implementation.

Client satisfaction/ Client delivery will be a priority for the role. It will also involve a wide variety of other activities to support the on–going growth of our business going forward.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their current knowledge and skill sets to support our current strategic partners in various areas of the business such as DevOps, Mulesoft and ServiceNow.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Creating and managing complex API solutions for multiple vendors;

*

.Net Core development to support end to end prototype solutions to meet the client's internal business needs.

*

Development of production software using both low level languages (e.g., C++) and high–level languages (e.g., Python, C#).

*

Supervise and deliver architecture design, infrastructure design, build and deployment activities;

*

Working effectively with 3rd party and offshore development teams;

*

Supporting the ongoing growth of our organisation as required.

Experience in the following:

*

Experience with .Net, C++ and Python

*

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Docker

*

Familiarity with Scrum methodology

*

Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

*

Hands–on experience with Microsoft Azure product suite

*

Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems

*

Strong Azure API development and management skills
