Head of Property & Store Development

Zachary Daniels Executive is pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a leading retailer to secure a new Head of Property and Store Development. Ideally you will be a Chartered Surveyor and now work with a property team within a small to large retailer. The role will include managing all Real Estate activities across the store network and assist on managing other property requirements across the wider group. This is a highly commercial role transformational role and is key to the continued growth of the business.

Some of the key deliverables will include but not exhaustive too, executing a multi–year Plan for Real Estate transactions which supports delivery of the store optimisation strategy, maximizing value and minimizing commercial risk across the Real Estate portfolio. This plan will be delivered via consistent application of strong program management, communication, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skillsets. Have the vision to see possibilities & overcoming problems in a collaborative & structured manner to achieve desired goals. Meet operational real estate KPIs including timely payments, section notices, transactions & accurate budget management. Manage the annual real estate budget: ensuring rent, rates & landlord insurance obligations are met. You will partner with Operations and Finance on Real Estate business cases, including lease renewals, regears, relocations, investment, and sublease opportunities, drawing in a wider business and strategic context.
