Job Title: Group Financial Controller
Location: Park Royal, North West London (Split of Remote / Office working offered)

BPS are currently recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to join a global market leading organisation in its sector. The Group Financial Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer. They will primarily be responsible for managing the Annual Report, Group audit, Treasury, UK legal entity statutory accounts, monthly group reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls and on–going process improvement.
Responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for the preparation of IFRS Annual Report and Accounts (ARA), including IFRS 16 disclosures and updates for new disclosure requirements.
* Annual Accounts preparation and production of the back half detailed financials and provide support for the front end of the Annual Report
* Primary point of contact with the auditors.
* Responsible for the year end external financial reporting process including IFRS 16 workings and disclosures.
* Responsible for the month end financial consolidation for the group and balance sheet account reconciliations and reviews.
* Ensure all monthly and year–end reporting deadlines are adhered to.
* Responsible for ensuring all inter–company balances are reconciled each month.
* Work with the FP&A team on the annual budget, quarterly reforcasting and month end Board reporting.
* Prepare the local UK statutory accounts for the two group holding companies and filed on a timely manner.
* Responsible for the Group's internal control system (RISMA) and ensure worldwide compliance on key controls.
* Support in the preparation of Group audit schedules for the year–end audit and take an active role in providing calculation and documentation for complex or significant accounting judgement areas, including IFRS 16, impairment review, WACC calculation, IFRS 9 paper etc.
* Ensure that all new accounting standards are understood and consistently applied by all regions across the entire Group.
* Other work streams, including supporting the CFO, on an ad hoc basis.
Skills & Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with post qualification experience ideally in a global organisation
* Recent experience of the preparation of statutory accounts and reporting.
* Able to prepare the back half of an Annual Report independently.
* Strong understanding of IFRS and multi–currency consolidations.
* Strong technical knowledge.
* Strong in written English in a style that is suitable for internal reporting along with the Annual Report and Accounts.
* Able to work across time zones (Asia and US).
* Experience in implementing and embedding robust financial controls.
* Experience of multi–jurisdiction reporting.
* Hands on experience with accounting and consolidation systems. Santa Fe has recently moved over from Hyperion to OneStream.
* Excellent excel, word and power point skills.
