Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Head of Product Information (E–Commerce). Our client are the largest independent home appliance and spare parts distribution organisation within the UK working with a number of household brands.

As Head of Head of Product Information (E–Commerce) you will be leading a team of 24 people.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Understanding, contributing and delivering the Company strategy
Training, coaching & developing individuals to maximise their performance, development & productivity
Leading the Product Data Team
Maximising inter–departmental communication of project developments to ensure timely delivery
Maximising work flow through effective people management, KPI setting, reporting and dashboards
Developing our back office systems to reduce duplicate input, either through in–house development or outsourcing
Developing best practices in data management and control
Improving department efficiencies through the use of our RPA software technology
Ensuring our data & content are at least as good as the OEM, focus on regular streams of data supply and a proactive approach to gaps in our data portfolio
Ensuring product data is loaded in line with the data prioritisation plan
Maximising on–line customer experience through findability of parts
Working with the Head of Purchasing to ensure plans are in place on the route supplies of model data
Analysing the product performance of parts, recommending changes to improve and drive conversion
Maintaining product information at optimal levels as per company KPI, including lifecycle management and product relations
Understanding returns in relation to data errors and set proactive actions to reduce
Skills and Qualifications:

PIM Systems experience
Experience in managing and leading a large team of people
Knowledge of product information management systems and SQL databases, spanning from ERP to integrations with websites and to the manipulation of large data sets through SQL
Knowledge of RPA processes and systems to improve departmental efficiencies
Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to assimilate information
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines set
IT literate in appropriate Microsoft systems including advanced excel
Experience in developing internal applications to maximise the power of PIM systems to enable internal departments to optimise processes
Highly organised with the ability to schedule your own and others workloads
Ability to work on projects independently and as part of a team
The ability to lead with speed
