George Eliot NHS Trust are a leading well established and forward–thinking organisation who have recently formed a Foundation Group together with South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust and Wye Valley NHS Trust. The Financial Shared Services and systems team is to play a pivotal role in providing financial transaction processing and systems support to all three organisations within the Foundation Group contributing to the Groups overall objectives.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Financial Shared Services who will play a leading role in the Foundation Group, transforming the Financial Services function through development and implementation of robust systems and processes in a dynamic working environment whilst ensuring that the service provided is best in class and to a consistently high standard.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

Transforming the Financial Services and delivering benefits from recently implemented financial/procurement systems across the Foundation Group.

*

Leading the development and implementation of the Financial Shared Services Function across multiple financial areas for the Foundation Group.

*

The organisation and direct management of the Financial Shared Services function, overseeing delivery through front line teams, underpinned by a network of individuals drawn from across the separate finance teams and key stakeholders.

*

Ensuring cohesion to multiple ongoing projects, management of the highly complex stakeholder sets and interdependencies, planning, managing and delivering the projects, which in turn will deliver all services and contribute to the group's overall objectives.

Developing and maintaining Financial and Procurement information systems, to continue to meet the future requirements of the Foundation Group and its projects and to deliver efficiency improvements to benefit all areas of the Foundation Group.

You will be able to demonstrate:

Experience of working at a senior level within a large and complex organisation managing a shared financial service across multiple business areas.

*

Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills.

*

A track record of successfully leading teams through change and transformation.

*

Excellent leadership skills with solid experience of coaching, mentoring and the successful management across multiple teams and locations.

*

Able to think strategically with excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.

*

CCAB qualification.

*

Effective communication skills and able to communicate with staff and managers at all levels of an organisation.
