The successful M&E Director will join an international consultancy operating at the forefront of the datacentre design & build world, undertaking a leadership role for a UK wide division engaged on some Europe's most technically advanced datacentre developments, with projects in excess of GBP200m. The post offers an opportunity to progress onto a board director role, assisting in the company's continued global expansion as they further develop their offering in EMEA, APAC & The Americas – the last 5 years they have consistently achieved annual growth of at least 15% YOY.
Your remit will range from providing technical direction & to day–to–day operational management of a national engineering team through to leading technical engagements with clients throughout the project life–cycle. Duties incorporate;
Team Leadership in the development & design & coordination of engineering projects within the datacentre build sector,
Along side fellow directors set direction of the company and their values, mission and vision,
Take ownership of commercial performance of projects from preparation of fee bids and delivery,
Ensure technical excellence is achieved on all projects within your division,
To be considered it is essential you possess a proven technical background in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering gained working on mission critical building developments, as well as possessing the following;
Proven leadership experience of a technical engineering team,
Degree educated in a suitable engineering discipline and / or hold CEng status,
Commercially astute with previous experience of managing a divisional / team P&L,
In return you will receive a competitive basic salary, in excess of GBP100,00, annual profit related bonus and a comprehensive package
