We are looking for an experienced and motivated People Director with a passion for leadership within all HR areas. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead a strategic HR approach at Garden House Hospice Care (GHHC). With a focus on operational excellence and service delivery, you will be responsible for the day– to –day management and development of a team of professionals within the People Team. You will be the subject matter expert and support the People Function with dealing with complex employee relations cases and HR matters. You will lead the strategic objective to streamline all HR processes in line with best practice, to support the performance of the Hospice.
About you
You will be an experienced People Professional who is MCIPD accredited and educated to degree level or equivalent. Your background will demonstrate significant and wide–ranging experience in HR Leadership roles, preferably across health sectors. Your board experience across wider People functions will include an oversight and understanding of organisational development and effectiveness. You have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence in public speaking, and ability to maintain effective relationships with all levels of staff across the organisations.
