The client is a large public sector organisation based in Leeds. They are looking for an Interim Lead Accountant to join the centralised Finance team. They are a highly respected organisation and employer and offer a range of career opportunities. They are currently all working from home.

Description

As an Interim Lead Accountant, duties will include but are not limited to, providing financial analysis, producing reports, managing and leading a team to ensure they deliver the objectives, creating and presenting reports to the wider organisation, working with stakeholders and budget holders across the organisation, providing financial support across the organisation, working with the Financial Accounting team to ensure that all accounting entries are completed correctly, ensure that good are promptly receipted, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
• Have previously managed staff ESSENTIAL
• Have worked in one or more areas of management accounting, cost analysis, planning and budgeting, financial accounting or the preparation of statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
• Advanced Excel Skills ESSENTIAL

Job Offer

Interim Lead Accountant + £300- £360 daily rate + PAYE/Umbrella + Leeds based + working from home currently + weekly pay
