We are currently looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Quality department. The successful candidate will implement and manage all aspects relating to the quality and environmental accreditations held by us and ensure the business management system runs effectively, whilst meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
The Systems Engineer will have interactions with all departments, external auditors and customers so you will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills and have confidence to hold presentations to interested parties at every level of an organization.
Hours of work:
Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm
Friday – 8.00am – 12.00pm
Key responsibilities:
Administration of systems is one of the main objectives and will include but is not limited to planning, managing, facilitating, and completing audits, then ensuring corrective actions are raised, tracked, and closed in a timely manner.
Developing and managing the internal audit team to ensure the annual audit schedule is met.
Interacting and supporting activities relating to the business departments, company sites, external auditors, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers as and when required.
Excellent communication both written and verbal including presentation to interested parties at every level of an organisation.
Update and maintain a selection of KPI's and support the management review process.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures within the business via MS Word, excel and Visio.
Ensuring document control of all systems is maintained throughout the business.
Be able to travel and support supplier audits if required, but main duties will be on–site.
Have good budget appreciation when managing systems support costs via auditor training and standards.
