Job Title: R&A Senior Business Analyst

Location: Newcastle/WFH

Salary/Rate: GBP550 Inside IR35

Job Type: Contract

We are currently working with a client looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a six-month project, initially working from home then based on-site in Newcastle. This role is working for one of our public sector clients.

Government sector experience is essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

  • Experienced in utilising one or more structured techniques for requirements elicitation and refinement such as Observation, Interviews, Workshops or Prototyping
  • Experienced in using one or more structured techniques for solution design such as Design Thinking, UML or BPMN
  • Understand business change needs and can assess the business impact of those changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Experienced in utilising one or more tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio or Excel
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of and practical experience with either an Agile or Waterfall delivery methodology.
  • Can appreciate the similarities and differences in both and would embrace working in the appropriate methodology as needed

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • SC clearance/eligibility required
  • Report building
  • Visual analytic/VA
  • Tableau/QlikView or similar
  • BI architect
  • BI analysis and design etc
