Prospectus is delighted to be partnering Lymphoma Action, the UK's only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer. The charity provides information and support services to individuals affected by Lymphoma, whilst driving improvements in the diagnosis, treatment and aftercare. At an exciting time for the charity, they are looking to recruit a Director of Services to lead their award–winning service delivery directorate. As their Director of Services, your primary focus will be to strategically lead and develop Lymphoma Action's support services and volunteering function to meet the needs of those affected by lymphoma and the healthcare professionals that work with them. This is an integral role for the charity, and as such you will be an active member of the Senior Management Team in driving strategic direction and management of their service delivery function, whilst also providing thought leadership on service delivery, development, innovation and inclusion. In addition, you will also support the charity by managing changes brought on by COVID–19 and build on the digital development which was accelerated by the pandemic. To be successful, you will be an inspiring and empowering leader, with previous experience of operating at a strategic level, working in a senior role within a charitable, support service or services delivery environment. The ability to develop effective relationships will be key, and therefore you must have previous experience of managing teams and building relationships internally, as well as influencing and building relationships with external stakeholders. Finally, knowledge and/or experience of monitoring, evaluating and good impact measurement is essential, as is experience of addressing complex and challenging issues, preferably in a health care or related field. Please apply with your CV only in the first instance, in a Microsoft Word format. Following your initial application, you may be contacted by Prospectus for an informal discussion, and may be invited to provide further information to assist with the recruitment process.Lymphoma Action offices are based in Aylesbury. Although initially based from home, following the pandemic, and in line with government guidelines you will be required to work in a hybrid environment with a blend of home and office–based working.
